My mom came into town this past weekend!
It's always such a dream to have her around and this weekend was no exception.
We decided to take a mini road trip down to Charlottesville, VA, which is only about 2 hours away but feels so much further because it's so different than DC.
We visited Thomas Jefferson's house, Monticello, walked around the University of Virginia campus, and stopped by James Madison's house, Montpelier, on the way home.
I am considerably more knowledgeable about the founding fathers and am so envious of their massive estates and beautiful views!
