Today I'm grateful for the 200 kids at Shanti Bhavan who taught me more in the months I lived there than I could have ever taught them.
I'm grateful for Bollywood dance performances, lots of rice, and Sunday night movie nights with the older kids. Second graders who catch your spelling mistakes, snakes falling out of trees, hearing the same joke 100 times, and laughing so hard with the other volunteers about the funny stories of the day.
I'm so grateful for the experience I had both times I taught there, and can't wait to [hopefully] go back in the near future!
