So hot right now...

The weather is finally warming up, which means that I start blogging more.
I don't know why, but in the deep dark days of winter, I have zero motivation to think of anything creative to say. Luckily for you all it's 70 degrees outside, so alas, here is my second post of the week.

A few weeks ago a friend and I decided to try CrossFit. You know, that really intense work out where people jump on tires and wear finger shoes. To sum it all up, the trial did not go well. As someone who hates working out in groups, I knew the minute I walked into that sketchy looking garage and heard the instructor yelling to "motivate" people that it wasn't for me. Gross.

But in an effort to get in look good in that new bikini I just ordered, I tried hot yoga last night. Oh my gosh I almost died. I drank water all day long, gallons of water, but about 20 minutes into the 90 minute session, I was already covered in sweat (too much information?) and about to pass out. It took all my will power to survive for an hour and a half in that 105 degree room, and after losing about 5 lbs in water weight, I feel great today!

I Love hot yoga! Was it Bikram?? It's the hardest thing I've ever done but feels soooo good after you're done and makes you feel like you're so strong. Good job :)
Makes me feel like I really shouldn't be eating the cookie dough I just made :)

Ahhh! Hot yoga! When I visit NYC you'll have to plan a trip accordingly and come to my old studio with me. Soooo goood.
