It's always a little weird to not be around family for holidays,
but I've gotten pretty used to it in the recent years.
This year for Easter, it was decided that some time outside was necessary.
And in DC there is no better place than in the shadow of the capitol building.
We celebrated with gummy bears and granola bars instead of the traditional ham dinner
and we almost got rained out, but we had a fabulous time regardless!

PS-Today I'm dying to be at the White House Easter Egg Roll,
but I guess my invitation got lost in the mail or something.
Any party that Willow Smith is attending is a win for everyone!
